Marciano Gai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Pio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Gai in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Vimaro got free with Genaro Pio in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arana's Miguel Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Quintyn in the 17th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Leonardo Quintyn made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Barea. Arana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Uriel Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Genaro Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Pio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Gai in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Fausto Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alejo Enaut came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Roby Santucho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Enaut couldn't finish the play. Genaro Pio made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Uriel Vimaro sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Gai to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Vimaro in the 54th minute of play forced Roby Santucho's goalkeeper Genaro Pio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Pio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arana's German Cerilo got a free kick in the 64th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Roby Santucho's Marciano Vermudo tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Roby Santucho got a freekick which was hit by Damian Elixio. Miguel Barea made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Alejo Enaut sent off a good shot on target. Alejo Enaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Miguel Barea made a huge save. After having played for 78 minutes, Leonardo Quintyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roby Santucho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Quintyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Omar Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roby Santucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Macario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Barea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Uriel Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Marciano Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Gai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uriel Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Genaro Pio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arana.
