The wind increased when Mauricio Lawrence made the kick off in the second half. Estudiabantes's Mauricio Lawrence got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Casado made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Igor Sanchez sent off a good shot on target. After 57 minutes, Efrain Cordarrol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sport club cañadense and the Estudiabantes players grew even worse after the yellow card. 62 minutes into the match, sport club cañadense's Dalmacio Otsoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Venceslas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mauricio Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Igor Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Lawrence might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Casado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauricio Lawrence ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mauricio Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, sport club cañadense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Gimenez to maneuver through the defense. sport club cañadense's Candido Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Lawrence in the 80th minute of play.
