Olavarría AFC's Eulalio Nazario got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Eulalio Nazario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olavarría AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Nazario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Nevada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Olavarría AFC booed when Club Atletico Villa Elisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Eulalio Nazario got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match was over Olavarría AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atletico Villa Elisa throughout the match.
