Fabricio Gilen came out of the goal and Nicolas Chorache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Defensores del Valhalla's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Guillem came free, but Fabricio Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Defensores del Valhalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pereyra to maneuver through the defense. When Eustacio Petri came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the BENELUX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Petri couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
