An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Abancens in the 99th minute of play forced Defensores del Valhalla's goalkeeper Fabricio Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Centro were the better team. Centro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
