After 41 minutes, Ramiro Ciceron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olavarría AFC and the Centro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Generoso Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Centro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Abancens couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Mede stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Milio's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Cipriano Seber notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Centro's Clodoveo Quintin. Clodoveo Quintin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Centro's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Nazario came free, but Clodoveo Quintin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Mede stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Abancens's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Gualterio Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Milio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Centro played a much better game than Olavarría AFC and deserved their victory. The Olavarría AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
