Marcial Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Elixio having to interfere. Bernabe Bingen hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. BENELUX's Ricardo Baladi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C.A.B.MITRE. Fulgencio Elixio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Ondino in the 25th minute. Gualterio Lugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcial Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Gualterio Lugo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulgencio Elixio. Gualterio Lugo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gualterio Lugo made the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. BENELUX's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Chorache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Serafo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nicolas Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. After 89 minutes, Carolo Mateus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.B.MITRE and the BENELUX players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BENELUX booed when C.A.B.MITRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball.
