With 8 minutes on the clock, Rene Larpe commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Altona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BENELUX:s goal. When Ladislao Truylos fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altona's protests and gave Ladislao Truylos a yellow card for diving instead. Ladislao Truylos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Santo Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, BENELUX's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Cordarius came free, but Fulgencio Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustacio Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Felipillo having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Eustacio Petri fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gavino Felipillo, passed just outside the right post. If Eustacio Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Altona got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Montez. Ricardo Baladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Eustacio Petri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eustacio Petri made the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Chorache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fulgencio Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Petri in the 68th minute of play forced Altona's goalkeeper Gavino Felipillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altona's Gavino Felipillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Chorache in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Eustacio Petri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavino Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Chorache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Cordarius might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Elixio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Cordarius ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute, BENELUX's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Santo Cordarius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nicolas Chorache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Petri scored 2-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Felipillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Altona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BENELUX.
