With his leg Eliseo Nevada managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Defensores del Valhalla's Rosendo Platon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th minute, Gabriel Nastasio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eliseo Nevada, passed just outside the right post. In the 25th minute Joel Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Gilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Rosendo Platon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Jeronimo Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Gilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeronimo Naike to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Gabriel Nastasio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Villa Elisa's Eliseo Nevada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Adan Natal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores del Valhalla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Villa Elisa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Valhalla's Adan Natal got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Eugenio Ganix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores del Valhalla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Villa Elisa the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atletico Villa Elisa's Jesus Karmel tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gerardo Pereyra's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Villa Elisa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Pereyra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Defensores del Valhalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pereyra to maneuver through the defense. When Eugenio Ganix was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Valhalla's Eugenio Ganix got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Naike in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Gilen saved Defensores del Valhalla from getting behind. In the 75th minute Jeronimo Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Gilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rosendo Platon came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Defensores del Valhalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Platon couldn't finish the play. If Rosendo Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Nevada having to interfere. Fabian Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joel Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Villa Elisa were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Defensores del Valhalla's much stronger midfield.
