Eliseo Locaio's late challenge caught a Corcovado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Locaio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Corcovado booed when Galvez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Gelacio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Leonides Urbes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Corcovado could leave the field as winners, despite Galvez AFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
