Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 100) Barrialito FC's Mateo Min started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Bartolo Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muertitos Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Ospetsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Feliberto Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Juan Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Oton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Presebal in the 12th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Muertitos Fútbol Club's Bernardino Presebal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ambrosio Oton was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Muertitos Fútbol Club's Juan Ferrando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ambrosio Oton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 29th minute Juan Ferrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Oton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Oton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Presebal in the 30th minute of play. Juan Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ambrosio Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrialito FC's Ambrosio Oton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Presebal in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Bernardino Presebal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambrosio Oton. Barrialito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Presebal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 47 minutes into the match, Barrialito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ferrando came free, but Ambrosio Oton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Ferrando made a kick off. When Mateo Min came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Barrialito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Min couldn't finish the play. Mateo Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tadeo Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Presebal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ambrosio Oton made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Bernardino Presebal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Oton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Urbano Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Tadeo Florin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Tadeo Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Muertitos Fútbol Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
