The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Etxeberri got free with Hipolito Erramun in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saverio Etxeberri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Erramun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Hipolito Erramun was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Modesto Lohitzun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modesto Lohitzun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Valar Morghulis getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Leonel Weather hit a great ball. After 13 minutes, Albino Mendebal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valar Morghulis and the Pulares AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nestor Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gogo Jaizki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Chus, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 34 minutes of play, Pulares AFC's Nestor Macario made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gogo Jaizki was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pulares AFC's goalkeeper Hipolito Erramun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nestor Macario struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gogo Jaizki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pulares AFC. The supporters of Pulares AFC booed when Valar Morghulis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Guillem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Chus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gogo Jaizki came out and tried to block the shot, but Marciano Chus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 89th minute. In the 96th match minute, Valar Morghulis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Buinton to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, Valar Morghulis's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Chus came free, but Gogo Jaizki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Pulares AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valar Morghulis throughout the match.
