Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Ibarra kicked off to start the match. The supporters of BETCO booed when Cantera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Cordarell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Otsoko having to interfere. When Hugo Ibarra came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the BETCO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Ibarra couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Hugo Ibarra in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Hugo Ibarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Valentin Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, BETCO's Hugo Ibarra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Otsoko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, BETCO's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Intxixu came free, but Ahmet Arif Afacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BETCO's Hugo Ibarra got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Hugo Ibarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cantera FC's Valentin Otsoko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Ibarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Otsoko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BETCO's Clemente Rodriguez got a free kick in the 34th minute. Amadeo Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Cantera FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Ibarra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carlos Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Venerando hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Leo Urko struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Valentin Otsoko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BETCO. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Gregorio Intxixu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ahmet Arif Afacan made a huge save. Hugo Ibarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Valentin Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Luisito Errapel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cantera FC and the BETCO players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Nataniel in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Otsoko saved Cantera FC from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Hugo Ibarra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BETCO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. There was no doubt that BETCO were the better team. BETCO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
