Honorio Bidari came out of the goal and Carlos Nataniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorio Bidari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Nataniel in the 10th minute. When Rigoberto Marz fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Verón's protests and gave Rigoberto Marz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BETCO booed when Deportivo Verón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Marz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Nataniel took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Bidari. Honorio Bidari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Ibarra in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Bidari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Verón's Honorio Bidari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Verón from getting a goal against them. Honorio Bidari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Nataniel in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Verón's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Ibarra came free, but Honorio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Dante Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Arif Afacan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Deportivo Verón's goalkeeper Honorio Bidari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Nataniel. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Ibarra to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Ibarra in the 52nd minute of play forced Deportivo Verón's goalkeeper Honorio Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Nataniel in the 56th minute of the match. Hugo Ibarra struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Honorio Bidari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BETCO. If Dante Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Verón's Rigoberto Marz got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Carlos Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BETCO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Nataniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Carlos Nataniel made a precise shot to the right of Honorio Bidari. Deportivo Verón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Carlos Nataniel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorio Bidari having to make a save. Honorio Bidari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Ibarra's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Hugo Ibarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Honorio Bidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Dante Jago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Arif Afacan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Hugo Ibarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Bidari having to interfere.
