After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Arnoldo Elija managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escalada's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Elija was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Escalada's zone, Elias Gamus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Johans came out of the goal and Elias Gamus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ernesto Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Christian Eleazar came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Escalada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Eleazar couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Elija might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Igon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Elija ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Christian Eleazar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Modesto Igon. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Gamus in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Johans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Elija struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Modesto Igon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escalada. After a defensive mix-up in La Naranja Mecanica2's zone, Christian Eleazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Igon came out of the goal and Christian Eleazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Christian Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Naranja Mecanica2 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jeronimo Montel hit a great ball. Christian Eleazar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Elija got free with Modesto Igon in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Erramun during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Albino Erramun. Elias Gamus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Eleazar was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes, Escalada's Teodosio Tavio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Modesto Igon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Escalada reached it. 56 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Elija was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escalada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Naranja Mecanica2 the free kick. Christian Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Modesto Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Elija might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Igon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Elija ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeronimo Montel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Elias Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, La Naranja Mecanica2's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Eleazar came free, but Modesto Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amado Pepillo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Naranja Mecanica2's protests and gave Amado Pepillo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Naranja Mecanica2 getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Amado Pepillo hit a great ball. La Naranja Mecanica2's Modesto Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Eleazar in the 79th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Anastasio Ramond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Naranja Mecanica2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escalada the free kick. A collision led to La Naranja Mecanica2 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Anastasio Ramond hit a great ball. Christian Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnoldo Elija struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Modesto Igon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escalada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Gamus in the 91st minute of play forced Escalada's goalkeeper Humberto Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Humberto Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Erramun got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 95 played minutes Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Albino Erramun. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Naranja Mecanica2 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Escalada.
