Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

One of Sumalao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Humilde Team:s goal. The referee gave Humilde Team a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivan Orzaize, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sumalao's Genaro Abalos. 1-0. Sumalao's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
