An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Osoitz in the 6th minute of play forced ALFONSINA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eriberto Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, ALFONSINA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eriberto Iyan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Orixe. Eriberto Iyan was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Salvador Osoitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salvador Osoitz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Albano Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Piano defense, Jonathan Arias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Amor. The Club Atlético Piano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Amor should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Pastor Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edelmiro Paulin came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Club Atlético Piano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Paulin couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Osoitz was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Domingo Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Piano's Salvador Osoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Iyan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Eriberto Iyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jonas Jon hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Andres Orixe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Osoitz in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Iyan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Andres Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Salvador Osoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Iyan was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Andres Orixe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Osoitz in the 72nd minute of play forced ALFONSINA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eriberto Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Salvador Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Iyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ALFONSINA F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jonathan Arias hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, ALFONSINA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Osoitz came free, but Eriberto Iyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Osoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Iyan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Osoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. The Club Atlético Piano fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Club Atlético Piano's Salvador Osoitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90thth minute of the game Salvador Osoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALFONSINA F.C.'s Eriberto Iyan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
