Felipe Dino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Montae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Montae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Dino having to interfere. If Astor Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27thth minute of the game Astor Montae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Madryn's Felipe Dino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teo Austin struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Felipe Dino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdivieso FC. After 32 played minutes Valdivieso FC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gizon. 34 minutes into the match, Valdivieso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gonsalvo came free, but Modesto Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdivieso FC's Modesto Ekaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Valdivieso FC from getting a goal against them. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Todor couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Madryn's Ismael Martxot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Ekaitz. Modesto Ekaitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Edgardo Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Nikola to make the kick off. Isaias Pietro struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute, Fulgencio Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Teo Austin could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Felipe Dino however easily saved by the left post. Nestor Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Felipe Dino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Edgardo Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Evelio Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madryn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Senon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Armando Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Chus in the 81st minute of play. Edgardo Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Isaias Pietro came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Valdivieso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Pietro couldn't finish the play. Valdivieso FC's Edgardo Nikola got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Senon in the 97th minute of play forced Valdivieso FC's goalkeeper Modesto Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Madryn support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
