Sebastian Kemen might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Abalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Kemen ran back to his position shaking his head. Genaro Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Gaizkine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sebastian Kemen came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Frontera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Kemen couldn't finish the play. When Sebastian Kemen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. In the 15th minute, Sebastian Kemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Bermudo during the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Frontera's zone, Jorge Kimetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Kusko came out of the goal and Jorge Kimetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Gaizkine in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Carlos Ibon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Bermudo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Maria in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artemio Kusko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Gaizkine to make the kick off. Sumalao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Gogo Arnau scored to the left of an out of position Genaro Abalos, making the score, 0-3. Sumalao's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Esteve Gaizkine 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. A collision led to Frontera getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gualterio Orlin hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Sumalao's goalkeeper Genaro Abalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Arnau. Jorge Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Kusko having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Esteve Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frontera's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Arnau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Abalos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jorge Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frontera's goalkeeper Artemio Kusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frontera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
