When Eliseo Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Humilde Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Estevez couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tsubasa F.C's zone, Aquilino Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Cerilo came out of the goal and Aquilino Madaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Gartxot having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Tsubasa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Salvidor came free, but Aristides Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tsubasa F.C's zone, Eliseo Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Cerilo came out of the goal and Eliseo Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tsubasa F.C's Aristides Cerilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Salvidor in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Humilde Team were awarded a corner. Ivan Orzaize went to the cornerflag to take it. Elias Seme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hector Gartxot came out and tried to block the shot, but Elias Seme slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. If Anselmo Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dante Cordarrell made the kick off in the second half. Cleto Lope struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Aristides Cerilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Humilde Team. If Dante Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Tsubasa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Salvidor came free, but Aristides Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Cordarrell in the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Melquiades Salvidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tsubasa F.C could leave the field as winners, despite Humilde Team having more of the ball for most of the match.
