Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Astor Montae started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Kaxen in the 6th minute of play forced Valdivieso FC's goalkeeper Modesto Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Santos Kaxen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Modesto Ekaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute Astor Montae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Costante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Muñoz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isaias Pietro was slow to take the kick. During this time Valdivieso FC's players had a chance to rest. Valdivieso FC's Teo Austin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ceferino Costante in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edgardo Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ceferino Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muñoz's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Astor Montae 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After 27 played minutes Muñoz got a freekick which was hit by Siro Oriol. Astor Montae kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 28thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Muñoz's keeper Ceferino Costante was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Valdivieso FC's Astor Montae in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Muñoz's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 36 in the game by Astor Montae from a close distance when the talented Ceferino Costante managed to make a qualified save. Muñoz's players were relieved. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Generoso Txurio put in a rough tackle. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valdivieso FC! The referee gave Muñoz a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Epifanio Gudesteo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Valdivieso FC's Modesto Ekaitz. 1-2. The supporters of Muñoz booed when Valdivieso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Ekaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benicio Petri went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Valdivieso FC's Teo Austin got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Muñoz's zone, Nestor Gau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Costante came out of the goal and Nestor Gau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Muñoz getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Siro Oriol hit a great ball. When Severo Gizon fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdivieso FC's protests and gave Severo Gizon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valdivieso FC's Severo Gizon got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ceferino Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Siro Oriol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Modesto Ekaitz, 1-4. In the 74th minute Teo Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Costante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Petri in the 76th minute of play. Isaias Pietro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Santos Kaxen struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Modesto Ekaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muñoz. In the 84th minute, Victorio Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ceferino Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Costante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Austin in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Isaias Pietro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Costante was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Edgardo Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ceferino Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Muñoz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Muñoz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
