In the 9th minute, Jairo Natal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Erasmo Orlandus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amaltea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Amaltea's Uriel Hats nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Abadie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Uriel Hats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Abadie. Bompland FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Hats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Bompland FC booed when Amaltea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Amaltea's Uriel Hats nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Abadie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Uriel Hats might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Abadie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Hats ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Mattin during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Niceto Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Bompland FC's zone, Cecilio Osasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Abadie came out of the goal and Cecilio Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cecilio Osasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Abadie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Manuel Abadie came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Amaltea's Uriel Hats. But to his dismay, Uriel Hats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After having played for 62 minutes, Uriel Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amaltea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Hats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cecilio Osasun took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Abadie. Manuel Abadie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Manuel Abadie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Osasun in the 68th minute of the match. Manuel Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Orlandus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Osasun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Abadie having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Uriel Hats's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Abadie was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Amaltea had won after a very even match.
