Leopoldo Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Gitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Florentino Bingen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Eguntsenti. Oling Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Bingen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Primitivo Theobald got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
