The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Domingos Ticho scored 1-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Garaona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, SAN LORENZO's Adan Dolcet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Urbano Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Koldobika in the 15th minute of play. Haroldo Quintin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Dolcet might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Martino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Dolcet ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Emesto in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Nicolas Koldobika had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Martino. Checenatico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Koldobika was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When %teams%'s Nicolas Koldobika was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 4-1 just inside the left pole, 27 minutes into the game. Urbano Martino was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Marco Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Emesto in the 32nd minute of play. Nicolas Koldobika could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Urbano Martino made a huge save. A collision led to Checenatico getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rodolfo Celino hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Checenatico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Emesto to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Andres Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Checenatico's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Emesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Garaona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Checenatico's Jonathan Garin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SAN LORENZO. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Koldobika to strike the kick off in the second half. The SAN LORENZO fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when SAN LORENZO's Nicolas Koldobika looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 58th minute, Nicolas Koldobika got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Adan Dolcet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Martino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Danilo Fraco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN LORENZO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Checenatico the free kick. 65 minutes into the match, Nicolas Koldobika notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Checenatico's Urbano Martino. Urbano Martino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nicolas Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Checenatico's Aureliano Fiz got a free kick in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Nicolas Koldobika notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Checenatico's Urbano Martino. Urbano Martino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The SAN LORENZO fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when SAN LORENZO's Nicolas Koldobika looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Haroldo Quintin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Martino having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SAN LORENZO had played much better football throughout.
