If Epifanio Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Chorche couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Faustino Mederi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmiro Macias was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The long shot by Elias Valerio in the 74th minute really tested Cesar Bertin's skills. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Romeo Gamus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pedernal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
