After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Claudio Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Tambillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Bertin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Mederi in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Roldanillo saved Club Atlético Tambillo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Ramone in the 21st minute of play forced Pedernal's goalkeeper Cesar Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Bertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Gudesteo in the 26th minute of play. Faustino Mederi struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Arnaldo Roldanillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedernal. Epifanio Chorche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Roldanillo having to make a save. Faustino Mederi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnaldo Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Epifanio Chorche made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Roldanillo. Club Atlético Tambillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Tambillo's zone, Epifanio Chorche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Roldanillo came out of the goal and Epifanio Chorche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudio Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Tambillo's Claudio Ramone got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Gudesteo made a kick off. Ramon Gudesteo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Cesar Bertin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Tambillo. Claudio Ramone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cesar Bertin made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Claudio Ramone made a precise shot to the right of Cesar Bertin. Pedernal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Faustino Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Simon Tanio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pedernal's Cesar Bertin didn't even have to move.
