Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jairo Bernard kicked off to start the match. Hugo Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Bertin having to interfere. EL STYLO's Jesus Bertin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Bernard in the 8th minute of play. Luisito Ruy's late challenge caught a EL STYLO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Ruy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chovet's Luisito Ruy got a free kick in the 10th minute. Luisito Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, EL STYLO's Eliseo Ospin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Poz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Chovet's Jairo Bernard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Bertin. Jesus Bertin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 22 played minutes EL STYLO got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Gaztea. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Jairo Bernard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 30th minute, EL STYLO's Carmelo Clis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carmelo Clis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of EL STYLO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carmelo Clis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 29 minutes into the game, one of EL STYLO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 39 minutes into the match, EL STYLO's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Bernard came free, but Jesus Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes EL STYLO got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Gaitano. Jairo Bernard might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Bertin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Bernard ran back to his position shaking his head. Fermin Musko charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Musko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Chovet got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Musko. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Ekhi to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernan Ekain's late challenge caught a EL STYLO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Ekain helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chovet getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fernan Ekain hit a great ball. If Ulises Ekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Ekhi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abel Poz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ulises Ekhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Bikendi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Poz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Ulises Ekhi struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Abel Poz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL STYLO. Jesus Bertin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 73 minutes, Jairo Bernard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chovet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Bernard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jairo Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Bertin having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, EL STYLO's Ulises Ekhi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Poz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luisito Ruy hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Chovet's goalkeeper Abel Poz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Gaitano. Luisito Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the EL STYLO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chovet.
