In the 22ndth minute of the game Baldomiro Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A1 FC's Rodolfo Belmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Paulino Hegoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Belmiro. A1 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Hegoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Hegoi was the one to do the kick off. In the last second Rodolfo Belmiro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Paulino Hegoi in the 58thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Paulino Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Belmiro having to interfere. Rodolfo Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Hegoi in the 67th minute of the match. Alejandro Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rodolfo Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A1 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Paulino Hegoi scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo Belmiro, making the score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in A1 FC's zone, Alejandro Joanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Belmiro came out of the goal and Alejandro Joanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everardo Criston struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rodolfo Belmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD. With an all-out effort, LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's Rodolfo Belmiro threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulino Hegoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in A1 FC's zone, Paulino Hegoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Belmiro came out of the goal and Paulino Hegoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alejandro Joanes came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Joanes couldn't finish the play. LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
