If Jairo Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led A1 FC's Florentino Artaldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Abel Poz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Hugo Ursino came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Chovet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Ursino couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Eneto to make the kick off. Jairo Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Galeno in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Poz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Chovet booed when A1 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Osoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, A1 FC's Rodolfo Belmiro got control of the ball when Hugo Ursino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jairo Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Belmiro having to interfere. A collision led to A1 FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Anacleto Ihintza hit a great ball. Chovet's Hugo Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, A1 FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Belmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Ursino. In the 97th minute, Rodolfo Eneto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Poz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
