The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Capillitas's zone, Cristobal Cordairo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Quirze came out of the goal and Cristobal Cordairo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to TIGER F. C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Angelino Gartzi hit a great ball. Ciriaco Dino's late challenge caught a Capillitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Dino helped the player get up and apologised. Ciriaco Dino hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Tomas Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Oscar Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Capillitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Quirze should have stopped the shot. The TIGER F. C. fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when TIGER F. C.'s Genaro Camerino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Atarratze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind TIGER F. C.'s goalkeeper Oscar Atarratze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute Florencio Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Chumo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to TIGER F. C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alvaro Perrando hit a great ball. TIGER F. C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Capillitas's much stronger midfield.
