Ruperto Bakar might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Mon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 16 played minutes FJD FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Goren. Godfredo Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Alonzo Pitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Sol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FJD FC's zone, Ricardo Bazkoare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Mon came out of the goal and Ricardo Bazkoare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FJD FC's Eloy Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Bakar in the 79th minute of play. Eloy Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ruperto Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Yaros failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
