Honorio Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Lauren having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mario Eudoxio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Taquelman's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Eudoxio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Lauren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Lauren having to interfere. If Mario Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Taquelman's Honorio Elia got a free kick in the 20th minute. Amador Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Marko in the 21st minute of play. Mario Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Esteve Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilmes A. C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Lauren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36thth minute of the game Mario Eudoxio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quilmes A. C.'s Esteve Lauren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mario Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Esteve Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Taquelman's Honorio Elia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Lauren narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Eudoxio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quilmes A. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! 56 minutes into the match, Quilmes A. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mario Eudoxio came free, but Esteve Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Seguinus charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Seguinus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Gerardo Seguinus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quilmes A. C.! Maximo Cortez shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 65 minutes into the game, Adrian Ciceron recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteve Lauren. Adrian Ciceron showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 72nd minute, Honorio Elia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Eudoxio in the 73rd minute of play forced Quilmes A. C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, one of Quilmes A. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 85th minute Club Atletico Taquelman were awarded a corner. Maximo Cortez went to the cornerflag to take it. 85 minutes into the game Maximo Cortez kicked a great long shot which passed Esteve Lauren straight ahead into the goal, Result 0-4. One couldn't see Maximo Cortez behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Quilmes A. C.'s Esteve Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Eudoxio in the 101st minute of play. The Quilmes A. C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atletico Taquelman were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
