Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Eudoxio started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Bakar in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Gaur saved Club Atletico Taquelman from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Bakar in the 8th minute of play forced Club Atletico Taquelman's goalkeeper Amador Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Anastasio Ekialde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Taquelman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaros the free kick. A collision led to Club Atletico Taquelman getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anastasio Ekialde hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes, Yaros's Gaspar Salvidor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amador Gaur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yaros reached it. Yaros's Humberto Sol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Yaros from getting a goal against them. Samuel Olentzaro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Yaros got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Acevedo. Club Atletico Taquelman's Honorio Elia got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Sol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Eudoxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Ekialde in the 37th minute of play. Honorio Elia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Sol having to make a save. Ruperto Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximo Cortez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Sol. Yaros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ruperto Bakar made the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atletico Taquelman's Honorio Elia got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atletico Taquelman's Anastasio Ekialde got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Anastasio Ekialde off the ground. In the 70th minute, Anastasio Ekialde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Eudoxio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Sol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Elia's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Taquelman's Mario Eudoxio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Sol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Taquelman's Honorio Elia got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Yaros got a corner. Club Atletico Taquelman's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaspar Salvidor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mario Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Humberto Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tobias Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Yaros's zone, Mario Eudoxio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Sol came out of the goal and Mario Eudoxio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Club Atletico Taquelman players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
