But to his dismay, Gustavo Fortun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ivan Chuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Fortun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Gustavo Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Depas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Fortun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Los Depas FC booed when Athletico Bílbao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Eskuin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Fortun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Tancredo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Gustavo Fortun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Senio in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Los Depas FC's Gustavo Fortun made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Tancredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! German Oton hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apolo Kismi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Tancredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Fortun went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Sixto Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, German Oton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Depas FC and the Athletico Bílbao players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Depas FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. German Oton hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Athletico Bílbao's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Chuse came free, but Patricio Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Txanton hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Patricio Tancredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Fortun went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Ivan Chuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Tancredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Chuse ran back to his position shaking his head. Athletico Bílbao's Patricio Tancredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Athletico Bílbao from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Tancredo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Patricio Tancredo came out of the goal and Ivan Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Depas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
