Spectators: 6803 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florencio Urti took the kick off in the first half of the match. Florencio Urti struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Esteve Lauren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capillitas. Capillitas's Elpidio Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Marko in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Capillitas's Benedicto Eusko got a free kick in the 8th minute. Marcelino Marko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Quirze having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Seguinus during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerardo Seguinus kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Quilmes A. C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Florencio Urti scored to the left of an out of position Esteve Lauren, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Urti in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Lauren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelino Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilmes A. C.'s Esteve Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Urti in the 34th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Capillitas got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Laurentzi. Elpidio Quirze came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quilmes A. C.'s Prospero Ibañez. But to his dismay, Prospero Ibañez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Gerardo Seguinus was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. A collision led to Quilmes A. C. getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Gerardo Seguinus hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Ibañez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Silvanito in the 54th minute of play forced Quilmes A. C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcelino Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Prospero Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Quilmes A. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Ibañez couldn't finish the play. Esteve Lauren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Urti in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Laurentzi in the 69th minute of play forced Quilmes A. C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Elpidio Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Gerardo Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Senon hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Florencio Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florencio Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Lauren having to interfere. Tomas Silvanito took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Lauren. Esteve Lauren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 90th minute of the match, Prospero Ibañez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elpidio Quirze was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Capillitas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quilmes A. C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
