Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cesar Juvenal got the match started through his kick off. Aquiles Salamon struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Hilario Bieito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matará. Ambrosio Errando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Salamon in the 6th minute of play forced Ricardone's goalkeeper Hilario Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Matará's Ambrosio Errando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Bieito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd play minute Mauro Justin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Christian Piearres. 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Matará's Ambrosio Errando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Bieito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Matará's Ambrosio Errando got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apolo Sotero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aquiles Salamon made the kick off in the second half. Ricardone's Hilario Bieito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ricardone from getting a goal against them. Matará's Ambrosio Errando got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Celso Firman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Matará's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Juvenal came free, but Christian Piearres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Aquiles Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matará's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Salamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robustiano Crispo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Hilario Bieito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Salamon in the 72nd minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Celso Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matará's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Firman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aquiles Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Matará booed when Ricardone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 minutes, Ricardo Chus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ricardone and the Matará players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Cesar Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Piearres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Juvenal in the 91st minute of play. When the match was over Matará could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ricardone throughout the match.
