Juan Milian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hilario Bieito. Ricardone's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. GASAR's Pastor Guillen got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Robustiano Crispo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ricardone and the GASAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Ricardone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Crispo to maneuver through the defense. Diego Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Juvenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Victoriano Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ricardone's Ricardo Chus got a free kick in the 28th minute. Mauro Justin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ciriaco Bertol fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GASAR's protests and gave Ciriaco Bertol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GASAR getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ciriaco Bertol hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Pastor Guillen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hilario Bieito, 1-0. Diego Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Juvenal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ricardone fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Ricardone's Mauro Justin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Galeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of GASAR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ricardone:s goal. With a little luck, GASAR's Diego Osorio got control of the ball when Mauro Justin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Maximiliano Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Ricardone got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Pelagius. Ciriaco Bertol, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Cesar Juvenal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ricardone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Juvenal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes in the game, Cesar Juvenal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Diego Osorio having to interfere. Maximiliano Galeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hilario Bieito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ricardone defense, Pastor Guillen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Bieito. The Ricardone fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Bieito should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, GASAR's Diego Osorio got control of the ball when Mauro Justin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Bonifacio Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GASAR were furious when Timoteo Estavan was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Diego Osorio, was totally fooled by Ricardone's Feliberto Naldo, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Pastor Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hilario Bieito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Pelagius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Diego Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
