The referee ignored Vértigo FC's protests and gave Fernan Calvino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Fernan Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Vértigo FC's Felipe Conrao got control of the ball when Agustin Estevon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Roano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Lucio Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Ciriaco Gonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Gabino in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Conrao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Venancio Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Bastiaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Conrao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Estevon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felipe Conrao came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustin Estevon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Isaac Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Ramond in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Gabino to strike the kick off in the second half. German Ramond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Isaac Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lucio Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the CF La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Gabino couldn't finish the play. CF La Plata's Isaac Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save CF La Plata from getting a goal against them. Felipe Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Javiar hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. CF La Plata's Isaac Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save CF La Plata from getting a goal against them. Agustin Estevon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Conrao having to make a save. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vértigo FC's goalkeeper Felipe Conrao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Ladislao Franco made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Conrao. Vértigo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If German Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, German Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vértigo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but German Ramond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Dimas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes of play, Vértigo FC's German Ramond made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Dimas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Vértigo FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CF La Plata from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
