After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Agustin Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Estevon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Guipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CA La Marea Roja's Cosme Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Bastiaro in the 28th minute of play. Isaac Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Sergio Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Isaac Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CF La Plata's Lucio Gabino got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in CA La Marea Roja's zone, Lucio Gabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Guipuzkoa came out of the goal and Lucio Gabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosme Guipuzkoa came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by CF La Plata's Agustin Estevon. But to his dismay, Agustin Estevon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Gabino in the 73rd minute of play forced CA La Marea Roja's goalkeeper Cosme Guipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, CF La Plata's Agustin Estevon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Guipuzkoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
