Spectators: 7329 (Terracing: 5498, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) Baldomiro Fernanco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Amado Sindo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jogo Bonito's Delmar Oliverio. Delmar Oliverio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Amado Sindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia LP's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Sindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmar Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Oliverio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Fernanco's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Baldomiro Fernanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia LP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Sindo in the 20th minute of play forced Jogo Bonito's goalkeeper Delmar Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Israel Toli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jogo Bonito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gimnasia LP the free kick. Israel Toli kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gimnasia LP's Amado Sindo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, Gimnasia LP's Amado Sindo made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmar Oliverio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gimnasia LP's Amado Sindo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jogo Bonito's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Gimnasia LP's Amado Sindo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmar Oliverio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amado Sindo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmar Oliverio having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Abechuco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gimnasia LP's Baldomiro Fernanco in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jogo Bonito's goalie prevented a goal. Adrian Cidro charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Cidro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jogo Bonito getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Adrian Cidro hit a great ball. Baldomiro Fernanco had several of the Jogo Bonito's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Delmar Oliverio as he didn't even see the shot coming. 64 minutes into the match, Amado Sindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmar Oliverio. Jogo Bonito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Sindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Fernanco in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Oliverio saved Jogo Bonito from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Amado Sindo put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Delmar Oliverio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Sindo got free with Delmar Oliverio in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amado Sindo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Delmar Oliverio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amado Sindo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Delmar Oliverio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimnasia LP. Gimnasia LP made a substitution. Angelino Urdin replaced William Costa. Baldomiro Fernanco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Delmar Oliverio made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Gimnasia LP's Amado Sindo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. After 89 minutes, Amado Sindo made it 0-13 with a short kick to the right side. Jogo Bonito's Delmar Oliverio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Amado Sindo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delmar Oliverio. Amado Sindo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. Gimnasia LP's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
