The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Abecia got free with Cosme Guipuzkoa in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CA La Marea Roja's Cosme Guipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save CA La Marea Roja from getting a goal against them. Hugo Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Odon hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Abecia got free with Cosme Guipuzkoa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA La Marea Roja's goalkeeper Cosme Guipuzkoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to CA La Marea Roja getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Candido Nuno hit a great ball. Hugo Abecia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Cosme Guipuzkoa made a huge save. Deportivo Lapala's Uriel Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Koldobika in the 28th minute of play. Hugo Abecia struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Cosme Guipuzkoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Lapala. A collision led to CA La Marea Roja getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Candido Nuno hit a great ball. Cosme Guipuzkoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Camerino's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Leonel Camerino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Leonel Camerino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cosme Guipuzkoa, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Camerino was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, CA La Marea Roja's Candido Nuno got a free kick in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Abecia in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Guipuzkoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Lapala's Uriel Berdoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Lapala from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CA La Marea Roja's Timoteo Koldobika got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 69 minutes into the match, CA La Marea Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Abecia came free, but Cosme Guipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the CA La Marea Roja defense, Leonel Camerino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Guipuzkoa. The CA La Marea Roja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Guipuzkoa should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Lapala's Bartolo Hurko was substituted for Moises Guillem. In the 83rd minute of the match CA La Marea Roja got a corner. Deportivo Lapala's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Guerau ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Amancio Odon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Lapala's Uriel Berdoi did a great save. Cosme Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Abecia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hugo Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cosme Guipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
