In the 19th match minute, Vértigo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Gonzo to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Roano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnulfo Palos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Vértigo FC were furious when Genaro Guifre was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vértigo FC! Felipe Conrao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Isadore in the 37th minute of play. Anibal Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ciriaco Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vértigo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Gonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Palos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgardo Roano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnulfo Palos having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernan Calvino during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LUTGARDIS RIVEROS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ruben Santo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Roano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Palos was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the LUTGARDIS RIVEROS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vértigo FC.
