Cristobal Mero shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 13th minute Elvio Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Estevon in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmar Oliverio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes in the game, Elvio Abechuco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Isaac Dimas having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Lucio Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jogo Bonito's Constantino Mannuel got a free kick in the 24th minute. Israel Toli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 28th playminute. Angelo Javiar hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Israel Toli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Dimas having to interfere. Elvio Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Fernan Cordarrol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jogo Bonito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF La Plata the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Jogo Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. If Agustin Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Agustin Estevon came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the CF La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Estevon couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Gabino to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Elvio Abechuco sped through CF La Plata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isaac Dimas. After a defensive mix-up in CF La Plata's zone, Elvio Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Dimas came out of the goal and Elvio Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Abechuco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Lucio Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the CF La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Gabino couldn't finish the play. Elvio Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Dimas having to interfere. Isaac Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Toli in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CF La Plata's zone, Elvio Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Dimas came out of the goal and Elvio Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, CF La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Toli came free, but Isaac Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ladislao Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Elvio Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agustin Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, CF La Plata's Lucio Gabino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmar Oliverio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Constantino Mannuel's late challenge caught a CF La Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Mannuel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CF La Plata booed when Jogo Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Oliverio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Gabino's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Venancio Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Delmar Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
