When Candido Nuno fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA La Marea Roja's protests and gave Candido Nuno a yellow card for diving instead. Candido Nuno hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Oinaz got free with Cosme Guipuzkoa in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Guillermo Presebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosme Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Oinaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Godofredo Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
