The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Lauren in the 3rd minute of play forced Instituto Fc's goalkeeper Iker Selmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Instituto Fc's goalkeeper Iker Selmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Siro Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Selmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Lauren in the 15th minute of the match. A hard shot 17 in the game by Anastasio Rainerio from a close distance when the talented Christian Chesus managed to make a qualified save. Paikín's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Paikín's Aquilino Bizen got a free kick in the 18th minute. Francisco Telo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Christian Chesus was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Lucas Chago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Chago really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Aquilino Bizen's late challenge caught a Instituto Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Bizen helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Paikín got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Bizen. 39 minutes into the match, Instituto Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Fonda came free, but Iker Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Julio Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Selmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Paikín's Siro Lauren made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Selmo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Fonda was the one to do the kick off. Julio Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Selmo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Siro Lauren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paikín's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Lauren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Selmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lucas Chago fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Instituto Fc's protests and gave Lucas Chago a yellow card for diving instead. 64 minutes into the match, Anastasio Rainerio notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Paikín's Christian Chesus. Christian Chesus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paikín's Julio Fonda got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Lauren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Selmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Aquilino Bizen didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-3 via right post in the game's 92nd minute. Paikín's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When the final whistle sounded Paikín left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Instituto Fc.
