Romeo Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Fonda in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Siro Lauren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paikín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Lauren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Tareirí AFC's goalkeeper Romeo Xacintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siro Lauren. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tareirí AFC's goalkeeper Romeo Xacintu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Julio Fonda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Paikín's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Romeo Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Fonda in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Tareirí AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Igor Mero hit a great ball. After 39 minutes, Francisco Telo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paikín and the Tareirí AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Paikín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tareirí AFC:s goal. If Elpidio Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Etxepare made a kick off. Christian Chesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Stanislao, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Siro Lauren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Xacintu was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Paikín's Julio Fonda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Xacintu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Fonda in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Xacintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Mero's late challenge caught a Paikín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Mero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tareirí AFC's Igor Mero got a free kick in the 76th minute. Aquilino Bizen charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquilino Bizen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Paikín got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Bizen. In the 86th minute of the match Francisco Telo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Xacintu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Romeo Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Fonda in the 88th minute of the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Julio Fonda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tareirí AFC's Romeo Xacintu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tareirí AFC's goalkeeper Romeo Xacintu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute Aquilino Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes of play Tareirí AFC's Igor Mero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Tareirí AFC's Igor Mero got a free kick in the 97th minute. Julio Fonda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Tareirí AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tareirí AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
