Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Faustino Gilabert made the kick off and thus started the match. 12 minutes into the match, Lastenia's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Fonda came free, but Adan Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Lastenia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. When Julio Fonda fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paikín's protests and gave Julio Fonda a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Paikín got a freekick which was hit by Julio Fonda. In the 22nd minute, Gaston Nayely ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Chesus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Lastenia booed when Paikín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Bizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Gilabert struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Christian Chesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lastenia. Adan Haritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 34th match minute, Paikín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Argi to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Valentin Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Paikín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Bizen to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Gilabert in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Chesus saved Paikín from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Fonda to strike the kick off in the second half. Siro Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Siro Lauren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paikín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Atilano Harri hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Christian Chesus was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Faustino Gilabert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustino Gilabert really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Adan Haritz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Fonda's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The supporters of Paikín booed when Lastenia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Paikín getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Julio Fonda hit a great ball. In the 69th match minute, Paikín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Lauren to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes of play, Lastenia's Faustino Gilabert made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Chesus was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Nayely kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Chesus. That made the score 1-4 in the 80 minute of play. Paikín's Siro Lauren got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Faustino Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lastenia's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Chesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Faustino Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Gilabert did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Christian Chesus 94 minutes into the match.
