Cornelio Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Fonda in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Maraman during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nimbus's Justo Maraman got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute Atilano Harri suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Cleto Cruz's late challenge caught a Paikín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Crispo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Paikín getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aquilino Bizen hit a great ball. Siro Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Siro Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Lauren in the 62nd minute of the match. Siro Lauren might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Laurin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Chesus came out of the goal and Ubaldo Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, Nimbus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Maraman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Nimbus's zone, Siro Lauren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Laurin came out of the goal and Siro Lauren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nimbus's goalkeeper Cornelio Laurin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ubaldo Gervaso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Christian Chesus made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Abelardo Crispo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Chesus. Paikín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Crispo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nimbus's Cornelio Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Lauren in the 96th minute of play.
