The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Paikín's Julio Fonda in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jairo Demario, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paikín's Siro Lauren got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Demario made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Siro Lauren sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Benito Laurentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in El Deportivo Boca FC's zone, Julio Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Demario came out of the goal and Julio Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paikín's Narciso Millrick got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Siro Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Julio Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Deportivo Boca FC's goalkeeper Jairo Demario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Primitivo Toli charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Toli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Primitivo Toli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Lauren, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Fonda to make the kick off. The supporters of Paikín booed when El Deportivo Boca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Toli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Siro Lauren came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Paikín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Lauren couldn't finish the play. Jairo Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Fonda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Toli hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Siro Lauren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Fonda in the 63rd minute of play. Siro Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Demario having to interfere. Siro Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jairo Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siro Lauren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Demario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, El Deportivo Boca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Fonda came free, but Jairo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Lauren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Demario came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paikín's Siro Lauren. But to his dismay, Siro Lauren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Siro Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Paikín's Siro Lauren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Demario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Siro Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Demario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Fonda's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute Siro Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Julio Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paikín's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
