The supporters of Atahona booed when Senillosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Veronica's late challenge caught a Senillosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Veronica helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atahona fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Atahona:s Juan Balesio showed great skill when he stopped Feliciano Nesto:s penalty. Baldomiro Txaran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Balesio came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomiro Txaran slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Feliciano Nesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senillosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Nesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Feliciano Nesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Raebert during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Atahona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Raebert to maneuver through the defense. Atahona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Feliciano Nesto scored to the left of an out of position Juan Balesio, making the score, 3-1.

The wind increased when Feliciano Nesto made the kick off in the second half. Juan Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Balesio having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Feliciano Nesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senillosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Nesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Atahona getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gerardo Olivar hit a great ball. Gerardo Olivar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernardo Casado firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Atahona defense, Baldomiro Txaran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Balesio. The Atahona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Balesio should have stopped the shot. Juan Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Nesto in the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Nesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Balesio was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Hugo Guerrero scored 5-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Balesio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Feliciano Nesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Balesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. In the 92nd minute, Natalio Odol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Txaran in the 94th minute of play forced Atahona's goalkeeper Juan Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Feliciano Nesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Balesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1.
